Today, Thursday, May 9, we will release a wine barrel-aged version of Chickadee on draft and in 16oz cans to go.

For this variant, we took our standard Berliner Weisse and fermented it inside of a red wine barrel, then allowed it to age and mature for more than six months.

Through the extended aging period, the beer developed prominent acidity and fruit characters that give it notes of peach, citrus, and subtle oakiness. It is a beer perfect for Spring days in Kansas.

Wine barrel Chickadee will be available on draft in both 10oz and 5oz pours, and available in 16oz cans and growler fills to go.
