A new variation of our Berliner-style Weisse, Chickadee is being released in 4-packs of 16oz cans on Friday, June 29th!
Several months ago we brewed Chickadee and then fermented it directly in aa oak wine barrel. We then let it mature slowly in oak, developing a soft and bright acidity that’s more complex than a typical quick-sour fermentation.
After a few months we racked the beer out of oak and onto peach purée from Oregon Fruit Products.
The resulting beer is luscious, with loads of peach aroma and flavor that pairs perfectly with the tartness of the base beer.
Peach Chickadee is being released in 4-packs for $16 each. No growler fills this time. A handful of 4-packs have also been set aside for Can Reservations.
