On Friday, September 21, 2018, we will release a batch of Kestrel with Mangos.
Kestrel is a Gose-style tart wheat beer brewed with a small amount of pink Himalayan sea salt and coriander seeds. After a brief souring period where we allow the acidity to develop, Kestrel is fermented with a clean ale yeast and then this batch was re-fermented on 42lbs of mango. The end result is a very tart, bright beer that exhibits subtle fruit character from the mangos. It’s a perfect beer for sipping on the porch at the end of the Kansas summer.
4-packs will be available at the brewery in Hutchinson starting at 1PM on Friday, September 21, 2018. The address of the brewery is:

There are just 30 4-packs available for purchase and one keg that will be on draft for samples and growler fills. We have also held back one keg for a later tapping in the tasting room later this year when it opens.
Alongside Kestrel with Mangos, we still have cans from our previous release, Wine Barrel Chickadee with Passionfruit available and one keg of Raven, our imperial stout. There will also be cans and growler fills of Sparrow, Barred Owl, and Chickadee available.
