In the Sandhills of central Kansas there is one fruit that stands above all others in regards to being a local specialty: Sandhill Plums. They are one of the few fruits that truly thrive in the Kansas prairie and are distinctly Kansas.

The Mission brewery and taproom is open
We are happy to announce the Mission brewery and taproom opened to the public the weekend of April 26th and 27th!
After nine months of construction we are so happy to finally open the doors and to bring our beers to the Kansas City area.
With twelve taps and a bright and comfortable taproom we will be brewing and serving our full lineup of bird beers along with a constantly rotating selection of experimental beers.

In addition to a regular lineup of beers, brewed on-site in Mission and in Hutchinson, we have also partnered with our friends and neighbors at Urban Prairie Coffee to provide sandwiches and snacks on a regular basis.

The Mission taproom hours are:
– Friday: 3-10PM
– Saturday: 1-10PM

1-Year anniversary for Sandhills Brewing
On April 28, 2018, we opened Sandhills Brewing in Hutchinson, KS, to the public for the first time. That was a year ago! We’ve come a long ways since our first customers walked into our non-descript, hard-to-find warehouse in downtown Hutchinson and its hard to believe it’s already been a year.
To commemorate our first anniversary, we’re bringing out a few really special beers that we can’t wait to share with you. This week, Thursday through Sunday, our tap list will feature three different barrel-aged beers, two variants of two of our standard beers, and three of our standard releases.
